We are seeking a kind, reliable female caregiver to assist a 75-year-old woman, who has multiple sclerosis (MS) and uses a wheelchair. In exchange for caregiving help, we’re offering a beautiful...
furnished studio apartment on our property rent free — complete with a private entrance, full kitchen, queen bed, television, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, and all utilities included. (Regular rent would be $1,400).
Location: Near Emory University (Atlanta area)
Start Date: December 1
Commitment: Long-term preferred
Responsibilities:
• Be on-site 5 nights per week between 9–11 p.m. and handle bedtime assistance (approximately one hour).
• Once per week day time coverage (approximately five hours)
• Sunday mornings (3 hours, 8 – 11 am)
• Occasional overnight stays (approximately 2 weeks total per year, scheduled in advance)
Requirements:
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to use Sit to Stand lift.
• Comfortable around a friendly 60 lb. dog
• Single occupancy and non-smokers only
• Background check and references required
• Dependable, kind, and respectful of privacy
• Basic training and experience with personal caregiving would be helpful but are not required.
