I am looking for a roommate to join my lease in my 3 bed/2 bath house in the Belvedere Park neighborhood of Decatur. My current roommates will be moving out in May and July, so I will be looking for 2 roommates to replace them.

This room will be... available June 1. Bathroom is shared, and rent will be $560 + utilities (gas, water, electric, AT&T Fiber; around $100-120/month). House is a 20 min drive to Emory campus. We are not located on a shuttle route, but MARTA bus routes connect you easily with shuttle routes.

Security deposit of $500 required.

I have 2 medium sized dogs that like friendly cats and small dogs.

Our rental has been recently renovated and comes with original hardwoods and a huge fenced backyard. Common spaces are already furnished, and kitchen is fully equipped; however, there is no full-sized dishwasher, so we rely on hand-washing or using my countertop dishwasher. House has an attached car port and driveway, so we try to be mindful of not blocking each other in or available to rearrange cars if needed. Otherwise, there is plenty of street parking.

Our landlord has been very responsive so far, and any issues are addressed promptly (nothing major, just things that come with living in an older home). Our neighborhood has a community feel with neighborhood cook-outs and volunteer days arranged by the neighborhood civic club.

About me: I am graduating from Rollins with my masters in May and will be job searching in the coming months; quiet and respectful of roomates and the common areas; looking for a non-smoker who is clean, quiet, and respectful of shared spaces. I do enjoy hosting friends for game nights and bonfires, with potential larger parties for the non-profit I'm a director of.
