Enjoy your time in our spacious garden-level apartment, featuring its own private entrance, a furnished large bedroom with desk and TV, alongside a modest kitchenette (full refrigerator, microwave coffee maker + water heater; no range/oven or d/w), a... full bathroom, and access to a small home gym. A washer and dryer are available on the main level for weekend use. We're located a ten-minute walk from Downtown Decatur GA, with shops, restaurants, and public transit. In particular, we are two blocks from one of the main Emory campus shuttles and a 10-minute walk to the Decatur Marta rail and bus station.
We are two Emory professors with small children in the (main floors of the) house, and we use the downstairs (where the apartment is located) ourselves -- particularly the home gym on the same level. So this is an atypical listing since the tenant will interact with us more than a standard rental -- which we are not only open to, but enjoy! We hope to offer attractive terms because we will be looking for the right person who will appreciate the space and understand its charm.
