This listing is for a fully-furnished private room and bathroom in a cute, quiet 2 bedroom/2.5 bathroom townhome with a small back yard. Room furnishings include a bed, standing desk/chair, side table, and dresser, and you can let me know if you need... anything else!

This room would be a great fit for a grad student, post doc, or visiting faculty member.

I am in my thirties and work from home about half of the time. I split my time between my house and my boyfriend's, so you would generally get the house to yourself a couple of nights a week. I like to maintain a positive and friendly atmosphere and am happy to interact as much or as little as you would like. No raging parties, please, but smaller get-togethers are fine if you like to have people over once in a while.

Public transportation is available (there is a bus stop at the entrance to the neighborhood about a 2 minute walk away and both the Avondale Estates and Kensington MARTA stations are walking distance). Walking distance to downtown Avondale Estates, Olive & Pine, and the Avondale Town Green.

Starting out with a shorter-term rental (month-to-month), but I'm open to discussing longer lease options if it ends up being a good fit. Read More
